A Neighbor. A Small-Business Owner. A Community Advocate.

I’m Wendy Lattof — a proud Peabody resident for 28 years and a Ward 2 neighbor for the past 11. My roots here run deep — as a mom, local business owner, and lifelong community volunteer, I’ve seen firsthand what makes Peabody such a special place to live, work, and raise a family.

My two children, Sam and Abby, both graduated from Peabody Public Schools, and our family wouldn’t be complete without our lovable rescue dog, Beau — who’s always happy to greet neighbors on our walks through the community.

For eight years, I’ve owned Create & Escape DIY Workshops on Main Street — a small business built around creativity, connection, and community. It’s where friends gather, families create memories, and local organizations come together to make Peabody stronger. Through my business, I’ve welcomed thousands of visitors downtown and proudly supported school fundraisers, community causes, and local events that bring people together.

Before opening my business, I spent over 20 years in the private sector working in business planning, supply chain management, and data analytics — skills that taught me how to solve problems, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.

As a Ward 2 resident and community volunteer, I’ve led projects that have made real impacts — including securing Community Preservation Act (CPA) funds for the Carroll School playground, opening the door for other Peabody schools to access similar funding. I’ve served on PTOs, organized neighborhood clean-ups, and worked side-by-side with parents, seniors, and small-business owners to make our city better.

I’m running for Ward 2 City Councilor because I believe Peabody deserves responsive, transparent, and community-focused leadership. I’ve heard from residents across our ward — from South Peabody to downtown — about concerns like traffic, safety, housing, and the need to revitalize our local business corridors. My goal is simple: to listen, take action, and make sure every neighborhood gets the attention it deserves.

When I say “I care about community,” it’s not just a slogan — it’s how I live my life. Whether it’s advocating for small businesses, supporting safe streets and accessible parks, or ensuring residents’ voices are heard at City Hall, I’ll always put people first.

Together, we can keep Ward 2 strong, connected, and moving forward. 💙 Wendy Lattof
